Eyebrow Waxing
Eyebrow waxing is a service that helps you get the perfect eyebrows that you have been wanting. Tell your esthetician how you want your brows to look and she will use wax to remove the unwanted hairs around the eyebrows so that you like what you see when you look in the mirror. You are welcome to walk in without an appointment but we do recommend that you call ahead of time so that you will not need to wait.
Eyebrows can easily get out of control as time goes by and then we sometimes aren’t sure what to do about it as far as shaping. Find the perfect shape and then we can take care of them for you. Our specialized estheticians do a great job at shaping eyebrows using wax. It only takes fifteen minutes and you are welcome to walk in without an appointment.
Eyebrow waxing is just one way we can help you get the eyebrows you are wanting as we also offer eyebrow threading or a combination of waxing and threading. If you want your eyebrows to stand out more with a darker colour, we can tint your eyebrows for you. Tinting of the eyebrows takes around 10 minutes and while you are at it we can also tint your eyelashes.
As a side note, if you are using any face creams with vitamin A or any other type of skin brightener, please let your esthetician know. The skin around the eyebrows is very thin and waxing exfoliates the top thin dead layer of skin. If you are using a retinol product (or something similar) then we recommend you skip waxing and get threading done as the retinol cream you use will have removed the top thin dead layer of skin.
Since this eyebrow service takes just a short amount of time you can certainly stop in during your lunch break (if you work downtown in Calgary) and make it back to work on time! We have many people who pop in during work hours because we’re located downtown and are just a 5 minute walk from the 8th Street Station which means we are very easy to get to.
